NEWS – To celebrate Casio’s 50 years in the digital watch industry, they have created a new timepiece that isn’t a wristwatch even though it looks like one. It’s the Casio CRW-001-1JR watch ring which is inspired by the popular metal G-SHOCK line of watches. The ring features a seven-segment LCD display that shows hours, minutes, and seconds. It also has dual time zone capability, shows the date, and even has a stopwatch function. It doesn’t track your steps or your heart rate though. But it will help with your sleep… or at least it will help you wake up with a flashing alarm.

Wearing the Casio CRW-001-1JR watch ring is a fun conversation starter and a stylish addition to your geek jewelry collection. The ring watch is scheduled to launch in Japan this December and will be priced at ¥19,800 which converts to about $128 US dollars. Head over to Casio.com for more info.
