REVIEW – EDC for tech nerds should include a power bank for those times when you’re away from outlets. Today I want to show you the Infinacore M3 Mini MagSafe Power Bank that in and of itself isn’t extraordinary, but the fact that they offer a customization/engraving feature makes it more fun than an average power bank. Let’s take a look.
What is it?
The Infinacore M3 Mini is a compact MagSafe compatible portable power bank that you can order with text or graphics engravings.

Design and features
The Infinacore M3 Mini is about the size of a deck of cards. The outer shell is made of black anodized aluminum. As you can see, I have the Gadgeteer logo engraved on the top surface. More about that later.
There is a row of 5 tiny LEDs along the bottom edge that provides a status while charging. The first LED will light up Blue when connected and charging and the other 4 LEDs will show the battery capacity of the power bank.
The bottom edge has a USB-C connection to charge the power bank or you can connect the power bank to a device to charge it that way instead of via MagSafe. Note that a USB-C cable is NOT included with the Infinacore M3 Mini.
There’s a button on the bottom right side that will wake up the charger to show the battery capacity.
The opposite edge has the Infinacore logo.
The back of the power bank has a thin layer of silicone/rubber (not sure which) to protect your phone from scratches when it’s attached. You can also see that there’s a MagSafe connection.
For a size comparison, you can see my iPhone 16 Pro Max next to the power bank.
And here it is attached to the back of the phone. The MagSafe magnets are quite strong to provide a good hold to the back of your phone.
As soon as you connect it to the back of your phone, it will immediately start charging the phone without needing to “wake” up the charger by pressing the side button.
The Infinacore M3 Mini has a capacity of 5000mAh, so the amount of juice that it will be able to recharge your phone depends on the phone you’re using with it. It probably won’t fully recharge your phone from 0%, but it will allow for enough juice to be able to make and receive calls and texts until you can get to a place where you can fully recharge the device (60% – 80% charge).
The M3 Mini does have 15W fast charging, but the instructions point out that it charges more efficiently when tethered with a USB-C cable instead of using wireless charging.
I had no problems using the Infinacore M3 Mini to give my iPhone 16 Pro Max a juice boost when I am out and about doing my errands and my battery goes lower than I would like.
I appreciate that this power bank is more compact than other MagSafe power banks that I’ve used in the past. It doesn’t make my already large phone feel that much heavier and it still fits in my pocket.
Customization makes it more fun
As a power bank, the Infinacore M3 Mini is a nice basic charger, but it isn’t going to amaze most people. However, the fact that you can have it customized with your name (up to 20 characters), logo, or even a picture of your dog, makes it more unique, interesting, and fun.
As you can see from the pictures in this review, I had the Gadgeteer logo engraved on my review sample. The engraving is crisp, clear, and perfectly done. It gives this little accessory a little something extra. Here are a more examples of the types of engravings that you can do.

What needs to be improved?
