REVIEW – I’ve reviewed one other heated vest, the IUREK ZD938, which I like and still use. However, I wanted something a little lighter and different. The Kemimoto is such a vest, and it sports a few new and unique features that make it an attractive option. Kemimoto was also kind enough to send me a pair of their heated gloves. My hands, especially my fingers, are always cold, so I was excited to try them out.
What is it?
The Kemimoto Thermal-Reflective heated vest is a lightweight electric vest with five heating zones and a graphene thermal-reflective lining. The gloves are powered by rechargeable batteries, and they feature three-level temperature adjustment and touchscreen capability for the thumb, index finger, and middle finger.

Design and features
The Kemimoto thermal-reflective heated vest is constructed with very lightweight quilted cotton.
The design features stretch fabric side panels, elastic cuffs, and a drawstring hem. These features ensure a quality fit and help prevent heat loss.
The vest has three zippered pockets, two side pockets, and a large-capacity chest pocket. The chest pocket is large enough to easily hold my iPhone 16 Pro Max with a case.
Inside each side pocket is a small built-in hand warmer.
The heat control button is located on the upper left chest. It is actually a cluster of five small switches. To turn it on or off, simply long press the center. You can also turn individual vest sections on or off as needed and turn off the indicator lights.
The vest has five strategically placed heating zones—in the collar, back, and pockets. There are three adjustable temperature settings: Low (104-122°F), Medium (122-131°F), and High (131-149°F). An excellent design touch is the small heated neck flap. You can flip it up to heat your neck or flip it down to direct the heat to your upper back.
The inside of the vest is lined with graphene thermal-reflective material. This material reflects and traps body heat, helping to maintain body temperature.
The vest’s battery is held in a zippered internal pocket. The thin, lightweight battery connects to the vest via a braided USB cable.
The vest also includes a USB-C charging port for charging your phone. The battery has a flame-retardant casing and a battery-level display to easily track remaining power.
Additionally, the Kemimoto heated vest is machine and hand-washable.
The Kemimoto heated glove liners are made of a lightweight, breathable material that stretches to fit.
The heated gloves use conductive PU on the thumb, index, and middle fingers. This material has stronger abrasion resistance and touchscreen performance than ordinary conductive cloth, allowing you to use your phone without removing the gloves.
An adjustable velcro closure around the wrist provides additional warmth and helps keep the wind out.
The top of the Velcro closure has a power and temperature adjustment button and a battery level indicator light.
The gloves have three temperature levels: high (red 140º-149º F), medium (blue 122º-131ºF), and low (green 113º-122ºF).
The gloves are powered by two small 7.4V 2500mAh batteries that fit into small zippered pockets on the underside of the velcro closure.
A carbon fiber heating sheet covers the entire palm, including the fingers, to provide optimal heating performance.
Fit and performance
Kemimoto heated vest
I love the fit of the Kemimoto heated vest; it was exactly what I was looking for. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and doesn’t add any extra bulk. The elastic cuffs and adjustable drawstring hem do an excellent job of keeping heat from escaping.
Performance-wise, the vest is excellent. It heats up instantly, and the variable temperature control zones are a game changer. Furthermore, being able to shut off unnecessary zones helps to increase overall battery life. But my favorite feature is the built-in hand warmers. They get toasty warm and work great. It’s nice to reach into my pockets and squeeze those warm little nuggets when I don’t need gloves. And because they are soft, there is plenty of room to put things in the pockets. Additionally, I can feel the heat from the hand warmers through the pockets, warming my hip area.
I wear the vest when I walk my dog Cooper, and it does a great job of keeping me warm. The graphene thermal-reflective material inside retains heat, so I even turned off the heating element midway through our walk.
Kemimoto heated glove liners
Like the heated vest, the Kemimoto heated glove liners perfectly fit me. They’re thin enough to comfortably hold my phone and Cooper’s retractable leash.
Additionally, the velcro closure does an excellent job of keeping the cold air from getting in. There is a bump where the battery is housed, and I was concerned it might be uncomfortable.
However, that wasn’t the case. It wasn’t awkward or interfered with wrist movement at all. The gloves are also warm on their own, so I can use the heating element sparingly.
